There is no marriage without engagement. Let California Ring is about engaging people like you to talk to people you know.  It's that simple.  Our goal is to engage at least 1 million Californians in a conversation about the freedom to marry and through those conversations to enable 500,000 Californians to pledge their support for the freedom to marry.  How can you help?

Have you ever thrown a birthday, anniversary or house-warming party?  At the end of the year have you sent holiday letters to friends and family?  Maybe you've even raised money for a walkathon or sold raffle tickets?  Getting involved with Let California Ring is just as easy. 

The most important work of this campaign and the most effective way to amplify the basic messages of love and fairness for all families is to have conversations with the people in your lives.

You're already an expert in the most important work in this campaign:  talking one-on-one to people in your life about what's important to you.  But why stop there? 

WAYS FOR YOU TO HELP:

Get Engaged  
Host or attend a House Party. A house party is similar to a dinner party or brunch that you may plan for any special event in your life. What's special about this party is that it's centered around inspiring conversation, the sharing of groundbreaking information and community collaboration designed to build support around the freedom to marry. 

Are you comfortable talking on the phone? Then you might like to participate in a Phone Bank. Basically, we set up phones, phone lists, snacks, and friends in a room and we provide you with an inspiring script and people who can answer the tough questions and then you get to make calls for an hour or two. It is incredibly rewarding and lots of fun!

Volunteer with the campaign.  There are many other great ways to help out, such as sharing your story, speaking to the media, data entry, web research, community outreach, speakers bureau, youth and campus outreach, office assistance, event planning and pride tabling.  Sound interesting?  Sign up now!
