Now that our gay and lesbian sons, daughters, nieces, nephews and friends are able to get married, we are welcoming new loved ones into our families.
Many couples have been together for years, showing enduring love and commitment in the face of discrimination and other challenges. All couples need the support of family and community that comes with marriage to help their love grow and keep their commitment strong.
That’s why we need your help. Join the conversation in support of the freedom for everyone to marry the person they love. Then, talk about marriage with your friends, family and co-workers. You can break the ice with one of our conversation starters, and then ask them to join the conversation, too.
